CVA Arizona Rally | Hold The Phoenix VA Accountable
As many of you know, the Arizona Republic has uncovered evidence that employees at the Phoenix VA Healthcare System manipulated data to cover up the deaths of up to 40 veterans due to long wait times and negligence. In an editorial, the Arizona Republic also said in regards to VA leadership…
“Let the heads begin to roll.”
The problem is it is nearly impossible to fire poorly performing VA managers. That is why the Arizona Chapter of Concerned Veterans for America is holding a rally at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, April 16th to hold the Phoenix VA accountable and to support H.R. 4031, the VA Accountability Management Act, an important piece of legislation that implements much needed reforms at the VA.
The rally will be held at Steele Indian Park, which is located at 300 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85012. The event is being held in the Ramada in the northwest portion of the park.
Many veteran and community leaders will be present including Former Chandler City Councilman and combat veteran Martin Sepulveda and former Arizona Director of Veteran Services Col. Joey Strickland. Food will also be provided.
